What is the Learners' Platform and how did it evolve?

This is an online professional community dedicated to helping you to be the best teacher you can be, wherever you are. However you choose to participate, you have found a place where your teaching will be supported and challenged and your contributions will be welcome!

On this site you will find engaging instructional materials for students in grades one to nine. These units, routines, tools and templates have been designed as familiar platforms from which teachers and students can reach confidently toward new strategies, unfamiliar content, and meaningful personal challenges.

After you've explored samples of our materials, we hope you will log on to join our community and review, teach, and comment on classroom-ready units. You are invited to adapt or extend materials to meet the unique needs of your students and we welcome your suggestions for materials that are in development. Eventually, you may want to write and share a Learners' Platform unit of your own.
